mdmkanchiong, my hubby is a full time tutor. he should be able to help your kids especially for math.
he can't do bio and chemistry but ok with physics.
given that your kids are taking major exams next year, they will need to ramp up this holiday.

Hi. My son currently in this tuition centre called Smartlab. Located at marine parade central. Their class size is very small. They also provide free lessons consultation monthly. My boy's results improved tremendously. Hope this helps 🙂

Just wanna voice out my feedback on this tuition centre, SmartLab. Enrolled my son in their centre for JC1 Chem. So far so good. I can see that he enjoys his class. What I like best is the small class size and 2 free monthly lessons consultation. Rates also pretty reasonable. Spoke to his teacher during our registration. He is very humble and patience. I complained to the centre but they said difficult to get good teacher nowadays, so got to stick with this one. I’m so angry. I asked to change my boy to another class but they said the timing I want is full. Too many students and teachers that they lost control and cannot monitor the quality of teachers!

My boy is P5 now, so I cannot stop his tuition. Pls advise any other good Chinese centre in Marine Parade area (I prefer small scale centre now). No 1-1 as my boy learns best in group (small group best).
He is very happy and doing very well (all band 1) with other subjects tutors in other centres.
I want him to maintain his band 1 score.

I am urgently looking for a Chinese tuition centre near Katong/PP area. preferred centre that is in small groups, with experienced teachers, can identify my child’s needs, etc. for my girl (P6 in 2015). My girl (SA2) failed her written paper 45/90, but the rest (oral, listening n compo) are ok. Chinese teacher said her foundation is not very strong so really need to look for a centre/tutor that can identify her problem.

Hi lsj, my DS still under her. She teaches P3 to P6.

She has students traveling from Jurong to her class too. We r not near her as well.
What my DS like abt her is she explains concepts very clearly. She's also able to motivate the child very well to do better.
Before her I was at my wit's end as my DS was failing his Maths.
Mrs Lee is a godsend and now my son is ranging at 70s jus after 6mths.
Am definitely signing my DD with her next yr for P5!

I was at Mrs Lee to enquire. I think she teach only English. Ok, its not really my cup of tea. The centre is open concept. Children of different level seat in a big room. Maybe about 20 of them. It appear they are randomly seated and seem to be doing different things. Mrs Lee will go around to coach the kids. This teaching model may work for some children but certainly it will not work for mine.

You definitely got the wrong place. Mrs Lee only teaches Math, no English. Class size is 10. Her centre is at 10-01 parkway centre. It's called leaping math by mrs lee now. For ca1, all the p6 students in my dd tuition class made an improvement of at least 10 marks. It's written on her notice board.
