If so, would it provides a overkill solution ?

d) Do you have a contractor to recommend ?

Thank you very much. Any info you could provide soon (even is partial) will be appreciated.

On the one hand, they are perfect for those who do not want to deal with levelling the ceiling, but on the other hand, incorrect installation can lead to \"wrinkles\" and a damaged appearance. So when you are developing the design of a room with a stretch ceiling, it is better to have contacts of reliable installers. For me personally, the repairs were done by SuperHause https://superhause.de/spanndecken/munchen/ and they also developed the interior design and carried out the work themselves.

AlanaMueller

Reply to Advise / recommend : Ceiling leak water - likely from Toilet on Mon, 21 May 2018 15:46:39 GMT

lumpy:
Hi,

Can you pls help!! The contractor diagnosed built inside the wall air con pipe degeneration n put up a new outlet pipe (we chose exposed, so no hacking). However the issue persisted.

After measuring the distance and height of the water seepage in the living hall and compared to the master bedroom toilet, I suspected the water could be from the bathtub. We put newspapers inside to dry the bottom, left the tile aside to air the bottom and reseal the edges of the bath tub.

The water seepage stopped. HDB will ensure contractor had done proofing owise they've to redo flooring & replace yr tiling work. Once u spot the ceiling peeling, it's definitely a leak somewhere. Of course the question is to find the source. Get the HDB officers who will engage their expert to assess.

Even after warranty, HDB will get both parties to agree to sharing costs. A few hundred each to resolve, unless problem is absolute upper floor tiling issue. Typically, HDB will get both parties to split bill after subsidy applied.

MIL's place use to hv an old neighbor wash clothes by hand & always pour water on her floor to scrub. I'm new here. Basically i'm staying in a condo and i''ve been experiencing a ceiling leak around the pvc pipe from the upper floor. My false ceiling is already damaged as this is an ongoing issue since 2013. Right now, me and the upstairs neighbour are in discussion to bring in a contractor. However, we called a plumber first but the the plumber couldn't pin point the source of the leaks. Can anyone please advice ? The water seems to leak from the surrounding pvc pipe.

https://s24.postimg.org/tp484slmt/IMG_5037.jpg\">

https://s24.postimg.org/yp1ocqr9h/IMG_5038.jpg\">

https://s24.postimg.org/5b5xx5ojp/IMG_5043.jpg\">

Kaiewan

Reply to Advise / recommend : Ceiling leak water - likely from Toilet on Thu, 04 Aug 2016 04:29:24 GMT

MrsKiasu:

CuteCuteMommy:
[quote=\"MrsKiasu\"]You can try with the hdb.
