My gal in P3 scored borderline this SA1 for ALL her subjects. Almost fainted. Could anyone recommend good tuition centre around this areas?\\

Will need to look for Math, English, Science and Chinese 😓

I also sent my boy over to Nanyang (Tiong Bahru branch) for Maths and Science tuition recommended by friend. Started about 2 years back, my boy was not doing too well, always just passed or just fail (40+ to 50 range). The worst thing is he told me he hate both subjects. He does not take effort in doing his work and just do for the sake of handing up.

At the end of last year, I can see very slight improvement . His Math and Sci is about 50 to 60. Very slight. Almost pull him out but my friend (the one who recommend) told me it is normal as it will take time.
Then this year, my boy start to average 80 to 90+ for both subject consistently for entire year. He is now in Primary 5. He also told me he ask his friends to join. He is beginning to like both subject and that’s a good takeaway.

Nanyang Education at Tiong Bahru CC offers Creative Writing and Math Heuristic Classes.

What I like about the centre are that they offer small group tuition and that the teachers there are good.

I take back my words. The teachers over there do not teach much, esp the newer teachers.

I didn’t send my daughter there so I can’t comment on it. There is a Confucius Mandarin Institute branch in Tiong Bahru Plaza - we weren’t impressed, but my daughter was attending a Sec 3 class so if your child is in Pr school it might be better.

I couldn’t recommend Miss Mok more for Math tuition from The Learning Museum. She is very "kiasu" in going through all the challenging Math Problem sums. Not sure about other teachers at this centre.
