They always looked like a mess, even when I was 14. My mom used to buy some anti-biting lotions, but that didn't help. So, once she looked at my nails and was terrified. She decided to learn how to perform manicures to help me improve the looks of my poor nails. She's found a program like https://www.nwcollege.edu/programs/nail-technology or similar and learned how to do it. After, she used to cure my nails, and they looked much better. And that worked! My nails looked so good I didn't want to ruin them again and somehow stopped biting them.

goddyhevil

Reply to Nail Biting Bad Habit on Tue, 29 Oct 2019 07:38:21 GMT

My sister tried this one for her child and it helps her child stop her nail-biting habit

Ecrinal Bitter Polish Enhanced Formula Stop Nail Biting is an ultra-bitter solution that stops nail/cuticle biting behavior. As long as I’ve known him, he’s been a nail biter. For the last month or so he’s changed that habit. All I did was start mentioning how much smoother his fingers would be if he didn’t bite them, how I didn’t like rough hands, etc.

That motivated him, and he’s had the discipline to keep it up. Every day that he comes home his nails are a little longer and we celebrate.
Anyway. His mom had tried some of the "products" I believe you’re speaking of when he was a kid, none of them worked.
