It certainly looks like taking essence of chicken is something that has been passed down from generation to generation.<br /><br /><br />I remember when we were young, each time my brother takes Brands essence of chicken, he ends up with a fever.  Strange, ya?  Probably too heaty for him.<br /><br />I think it is also a good idea to give the kids cooling water if they find it too heaty, as mentioned by mathsparks.</p>

It depends on the body constitution of the child. Some of us are more prone to heatiness if the body constitution is not the \"cool\" type.<br /><br /><br />My son enjoys the taste and will have it when he's tired and running out of energy. And yes, during exam periods too.<br /><br />My girl will have nothing with it. You have to observe the body condition of your child and his reaction to 1 bottle of essense. If there is no sign of heaty, should be fine.<br /><br /><br />I prefer yu ren sheng essense of chicken because they contain no charamel. However, they can be more expensive than Brands.</p>
