Disposable camera

I bought a disposable camera with flash for dd1's learning journey. I have a home project for her heehee evil mother.

May I know for disposable camera, do I use the flash for indoor shots? The flash is not automatic so need to activate it. If the indoor location is well-lit, is there still a need to use the flash?

I bought it fr a film developing shop. Mine comes with a flash, cost $16 plus, so without flash should be cheaper. I saw one that can be used for underwater shots too.
