It was supposed to signify something that I am currently going through. Made me sit down and review my situation.

Yes. All seemingly in slow motion. I think those people on the bus in the video are also very lucky that they were spared from the crash... it was only a few hundred meters away from ground zero!

Tokyo's cab meter starts at 2,100 Yen... just ride around the main streets of Omotesando cost USD60+... but the cab drivers are polite, they wear white gloves, some even put on the air pilot's hat :please:
Trust me. I never complained about expensive cab rides in Singapore ever since. Yes, those cab drivers do indeed think themselves as flying private planes for individual passengers.

Indeed. I hate flying short distances because it plays havoc on my sinus and my ears don't pop for days sometimes. So there was once I decided that I would take a cab to go from Tokyo Narita to Haneda, instead of an internal flight. After all, it was only a 40min ride. The cab ride cost me a whopping US$350 (S$550 during those days of strong USD), the most expensive taxi ride I ever took.

I almost died when I saw the bill 😉
