But if you really like the 'bulk' look it may not be practical for a small family as the supplies may not work or discolour after storing for too long. I usually buy extra of most common items and keep them in a bag on a shelf. My kids will help themselves when they need the items and tell me when the stock needs to be replenished. I don't like to have to rush to get a single item when they need it.

sharonkhoo

Reply to Share your child's work station/table/corner photos on Sun, 26 May 2013 01:57:00 GMT

Kiddos have their own rooms. We renovated their rooms last year and they each have their own study area. DH consulted a fengshui master when we first bought our place and the kids study areas are where the master say their wen cang wei is. We did built-in shelves for their files and stationery. They each have a bookshelf next to their beds for their storybooks. Sometimes the kids will gather in either of their rooms and do their work together.

DH and I have our own study room. And in one of the cupboards, I stored stationery mainly for the kids. Whole boxes of glue, correction tapes, pencils, pens, erasers, staples, a few packs of construction papers, printing supplies, etc.
