I thought at most they will change a few questions here and there. I recently sent my son for this course at <br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.OLevelEnglish.com">http://www.OLevelEnglish.com</a> <br /><br />and I must say that the results do show and my son is actually in the running for an A Grade in school. I went to check my son's course handouts to make sure they were the updated syllabus and it mentioned something about syllabus 1128. Is that the new syllabus?  Anyone one here savvy with these syllabus codes? Here are the following changes:<br /><br />There is now a listening comprehension component (paper 3) included and in paper 1, there is now an editing section and the essay portion now has mainly expository questions. <br />In paper 2, there are three different sections: section A which features a graphic stimulus, section B which is slightly more \"literature-like\" in my opinion, and section C which is the most similar to the previous English syllabus but with the reduced summary word limit, as you've mentioned earlier.<br />The oral exam has also changed. Students now have only two components: reading and spoken interaction.
