Yes. Amazon will charge you cost + GST. And if there excess, they will refund the balance.

e.g. At the point of arrival of the goods in SG, the exchange rate maybe such that the GST is less than what is charged earlier.

I got encik's parcel now...but Singpost now tells me no such recipient living there...

His new owner has rejected encik's parcel (which is actually mine) and Singpost hunted me down and told me to pick up my parcel from them.

Btw, our names are very different and we live in diff districts. dunno why the mix-up at the US distribution centre... 🤷

What an experience...and now I've the same set of books coming my way by end of the year, compliments from the apologetic Amazon.
