I am coming back to Singapore for at least 3 months. I need info on which company and plan to go for Internet access on both the laptop and IPad. I also have an unlocked iPhone, where I need incoming/outgoing local and overseas calls and messaging, plus Internet access. Please help! And THANKS!

I suggest you go for pre-paid since you are here for short period of time. For coverage I will suggest Singtel and the price is reasonable.

Each telco has its own 3G and 4G price plans (package deal), users pay a monthly fix amount which usually includes a certain minute of outgoing talk times (placing calls), free incoming calls, includes a certain number of SMS, 2 or 3GB of 3G/4G data and other value-added-service like calls-roaming, data-roaming, caller-number-non-display, calling-number-display, voice mails etc.

For data access only, all 3 telcos have data only SIM card for iPad; for laptop you may need another addition device (toggle) which can be bought at the telcos shop.

It's hard to say which telco is better, or whose package is more superior, it all depends on your usage pattern, and the signal strength/reception wise it depends on which part of SG you are in.
