Called Le Fumoir. It's recommended by Times magazine. A 3 course meal cost €24. Food is good. Was there for lunch, quite crowded (can see how popular it is) but turnover is fast and service also fast. No service charge if I recall correctly.

Here's more info http://content.time.com/time/travel/cityguide/article/0,31489,1937013_1936990_1936848,00.html

FYI, the restaurant is just opposite the main entrance of the Louvre Museum.

There is a very interesting bridge near the Louvre that is full of locks. From afar, you can see the bridge glistening because of the shiny locks. You can buy or bring your own lock to lock your secret to the bridge and throw the key into the River Seine.

If you are going to Notre Dame, drop by the very very old Shakespeare and Company bookstore. It is at the white building to the left of the Notre Dame. My kids enjoyed the bookstore a lot. There were typewriters for them to try and they got to use one first time in their life. There's also bedroom and piano for you to play. A really fun place to explore. Books there are more expensive then the other bookstores but you get special company stamp on your book you buy as souvenir.

osim

Reply to London, Manchester & Paris on Sat, 09 Nov 2013 16:18:28 GMT

hquek:
Hi Osim,

Just remember to check out the offers you can get from Eurostar.
