I also had a problem with my phone, iPhone-7c. The screen was broken and I thought it’s over. To be honest, I was discouraged, as now it’s not so easy to find a good service for phone repairing. But anyway I think that is more convenient to replace the screen.

How much can a used Iphone 5 fetch in JB?

Was about RM100 if I recall correctly, for 4S. And we sold just this week the iphone 4S for RM500 (mostly quoted RM450) at Holiday Plaza. Compared to quotes when we asked around in Singapore - ranging from S$80 to S$130.

I had cracked screen replaced in JB at KSL shopping centre. Many outlets of the shop - I think it's called Cube (signboard has some greens). They can replace on the spot whilst you watch. Not sure about reselling though.[/quote]We too did the repair at one of the outlets at KSL. Do walk around and ask first to get an idea of what is the market rate for repair. They do provide a few months warranty too after repair of the LCD screen. You may also check out at the nearby Holiday Plaza where there are even more such shops.

Best will be to go back to Apple shop. If you wan cheap, then Sim Lim or those instant repair jobs - try to choose those that you can view onsite, and you can ask before you have it done.

Alternatively, there are many shops around in JB. Their repair prices not expensive.

When you send to service centre, make sure you backup your phone. For Samsung, they will erase all data regardless. Had a note 4 screen replaced at a shop recently. Pricing close to authorised service centre but same day collection and without data loss.

I just send my iPad 1 for service by iphonefix.. They will do it on spot for you.. Good service.. Fast.
