No choice..I have checked out other kindies and childcare centres but they weren't suitable. Have enrolled dd in afternoon session and l will let her stay on in school to join enrichment classes so that I can take care of ds after his classes end. The thought of reaching CH by 7.10 every morning is arrghhh!! I don't understand why being a single session school CHS can't start later at maybe 8 am. My kids presently get up at 7 am and reach school (on foot) by 7.50.

Wait till you get the school bus pick up time. It might be 6am or 6.15am!

Why don't you place in a full day childcare instead of a half day kindy?

Who's going to look after your P2er when you go to St James to pick up the younger one in late afternoon? Place somewhere in Bishan or Novena or Newton?

I will be the main caregiver. Recently have officially become full time homemaker aka domestic manager cum maid, chauffeur, tutor. We live near Bishan...just have to plan arrangements very carefully. If something crops up, I will have to get grandparents' help.
