do they see the overall income of the family for eligibility?

So far seems like no limit for Scholarships... as long as the results are good. As for the Grant, then will depends on the income of the family...

Meaning if your child is in P5/6 and receiving Edusave Scholarship, it won't work anymore to get back your membership fee ... 😉
Yup... for P5/6, better to get the Edusave Scholarship... S$400.00 compare to the S$125.00.... 😛
At least better alternative for lower primary. Most important is just motivation to the kids that they got something from someone for the effort put in... recognition from external party and not from families...

Yup... if have more kids, you'll get more. Also, if you buy groceries from NTUC, you'll get more 'dividend' at the end of the year...
So, the S$9.00 per month for the membership is worth paying...

But if you have more children receiving it will be worth. The amt shd varies by level of study.

I heard some CC and RC also gives out scholarship awards, with no min income bracket, but I dont know how it works.

Those are Edusave Bursary... got income cap at S$4000 (or S$4500??)
those without income bracket are only P5 and P6 which is scholarship...

Hokkien Huay Kuan. You must be a member to qualify. I don't know any myself except these Chinese clans.
