Will the DSA interviewers be put off by a candidate’s bad hairdo, crooked teeth and…BO?! Is first impression very impt during a DSA interview? Is it the same as job interviews? What if the kid is very articulate and conducts himself/herself very well?

During Job Interviews, I prefer to pick wholesome freshies, not those vampish ones with heavy makeup and luxury bags. I can’t stand scruffy men…must be clean-up, neat and no BO. I had a co-worker who had very bad Ba Wu. When we did outdoor events, I had to stay clear of him…

Bad breath is due to tooth cavities unbeknownst to the person. Once they are filled, you won’t smell it liao!! Or failure to drink water due to dieting/fasting, etc. I had an ex-coll who skipped lunch (and WATER) whose bad breath permeates the air inside our meeting room. NO one dared to sit next to her, cos the meetings could run for 3 hrs.

Good look is a bonus, especially for girls.. Eg. Pretty actresses tend to play lead roles, while the not so pretty ones play supporting roles.. Of course, a few average looking ones will 出人头地 one day, but it will take them a lot more hard work and a much longer time to achieve fame..

First impression counts.. Usually, people will be attracted to a pleasant face (outer beauty) first, then slowly get to know the person and appreciate the person's character (inner beauty)..

Simply that.. I don't think so \"chim\" until... 😓

Of course, if first impression fail, no need to follow up anymore.. That's why minimum must look pleasant 😉

I think it is important for a girl to be pretty (or at least pleasant-looking).. Beautiful people tend to have smoother paths in life..
