Hence, it is right to say that the PMO and Istana webpages are not affected.<br /><br /><br />Also, it did not deny the access of other genuine users as they will still be seeing the actual PMO or Istana page if they visit via the normal URL.<br /><br />These "hackers" will be charged under other offences I believe.  The Computer Misuse and Cybersecurity Act does not have anything to criminalise that act.</p>

But that would mean they actually managed to breach the fortress because there is no suggestion (yet!) they somehow managed to breach the DNS server (another fortress) to divert traffic away.<br /><br />I recall, however, PMO saying that normal visitors to the site could not get to the offending webpage. If they could only divert themselves to their own website for the purpose of taking a screenshot, then that might be iffy.<br /><br />Whatever it is, it is a bit strange that, unlike the Messiah, neither of them have been charged yet. In fact, one of them was actually able to be interviewed by reporters.
