Curiosity in children will be diminished with the increment of worksheets. Real authentic learning should be exploratory learning that ignites a child’s curiosity to want to learn more.

If pop by Popular and flip thru K2 assessment, parents should not be shock.

With the new directives shared by insider, not sure if kindy and CCC will change track.

Maybe the shocked parents do not send their pre-school kids for enrichment bah, heard that the expensive one at united Sq now has classes for pre-school.

If remember correctly, TH, my kids not in it, give their K2 class test too.

If afraid of self-esteem if fail test, I find that if parents don’t care, neither will kids. dd1 has tests in P1 but she was only aware of tests in P2. Even now she does not know the implication of tests.

If worried abt kindy administering such tests, don’t need to worry lah becos result of tests will not affect P1 placement.

Doing p1 test papers at K2 not considered advanced teaching lah since K2 already teach P1 stuff.
