However, when you take out the IP/Specialized/Express Only Schools (SAP/dual track), the remaining ratio is probably something like 4.5 / 2 / 1.<br /><br /><br />There are likely some ebbs and flows based on the school, but most are likely in the ballpark of the two ratios above.</p>

Either take with them to next classroom or keep in locker.<br /><br />Bonding-wise, they had a fantastic 3D2N Orientation camp where activities were grouped by form class. More viable to go via the poly route than the JC route for this group of students if the end goal is university education. It’s just a matter of announcing it at the right time. Next year P6 will be affected by this new system and will no longer have the option of O / NA / NT. Thus, that is a need to explain what people are getting into when they choose G1 /2 /3. A PSLE score 21 student will have at least 1 subject eligible at the express level (ie AL5 or better). I will certainly prioritize schools that have shown consistent results at O Level (especially for the subjects that I’m eligible for) rather than picking an Express stream but results may be lagging far behind the national average (or just around the average).</p>

If not, the school selection is likely to concentrate certain bands in certain schools. They could find other ways of achieving this, I guess, e.g. by allocating school places by residential address (which doesn't always work well).<br /><br />Another reason for differentiated COPs could be a way to decide what level of subjects each student can take, and how many of each, and whether they take N levels or only the O levels, and after 4 or 5 years. I guess once FSBB has become the norm, there will be other tweaks down the road.
