My kids:
My daughter is in Pri 6. I don't know how to choose secondary school.what should be the criteria to choose a secondary school?

Whether to look for distance/ Cca/t-score / Dsa? Pls help. Thanks in advance.
Choose base on
1) Child's capability - prefers 'O' level or IP or IB
2) Do you prefer all girls school?
3) Distance of the school
4) CCA offered by the Sec school and etc
If you have a preferred Sec. School, go visit the school on their open house.

I've just visited Anglican High last Saturday, yes. He qualifies for bonus point.

Hello. I have a aggregate of 242 with HMT is 245. I live at the Marine Parade area. I am interested in going these schools. Please kindly give your precious opinions of what school should I go. (Consider the distance, o level results, school of what band, quality of students, environment, quality of teachers, programmes, school system, principal, lessons conducted, well roundedness etc.) I am more of a non sporty type of student and I was educated in a SAP school)

Chung Cheng High Main School
Anglican High
Nan Hua High
Nan Chiau High
St Joseph's O level
(All of these are gonna be in my choices)
Please help me decide on the school I should put as first choice. Kindly give your opinions. Thanks a million!

This order looks good. Is nan hua a bit far? You might want to go cat high o level track a shot, since you are already considering sji.

Maybe can look at maris stella as well.

For your last choice, maybe look at a sure win loke tkss?

By 2013 Sec 1 intake COP order then it should be

Nan Hua/SJI
Anglican
Nan Chiau
Chung Cheng

4 of the 5 are SAP schools, do you want to remain in a SAP school ?

SJI is a dual track school so could be easier for you to switch to IP if u do well in Sec 1/2
