Yes indeed. We need to teach our children to uphold integrity and not to twist facts around or worst still malign other schools with unsubstantiated facts

that's why we as parents have to set good example. If we as parents do not have the level of integrity or malign others to be competitive, our children will just learn that from us and it would be a sad state of affairs.

I may be wrong here but I also believe that quite number of the posts are are from students and not actual parent here as seen from childishness of those posts

Perhaps it is really a good idea to invite the press journalist to come in and look at the \"viciousness of some of the discussion threads.

I don't know what she is doing now after graduating from the University of Michigan. Apparently, at the ang mo university she is contented enough to just assume a backstage role preparing costumes for the drama society.

What this child did has resulted not only carrying a bad name but also a vast negative impact on the parent's career and their future.

The lesson I learnt here is as parents we are partly to be blamed for the child's misdeed. We have to watch our behaviour and words as it will knowingly or unknowingly inculcate in our children.
How one behaves, speaks, reacts, etc. does matter.
If you are unreasonable, talk rude, contentious or if you are kind, humble, harmonious and so on.. so will your child be in due time.

A new junior college that will open in 2017 for students from three Integrated Programme (IP) schools will likely be built on the site of the Asian Golf Academy near Bishan.

A statement on the Ministry of Education (MOE) website says the new campus will be at the junction of Sin Ming Avenue and Marymount Road, where the driving range is located.

The area is also zoned for an educational institution, according to the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Draft Master Plan 2013.

Singapore's 20th school to offer a JC programme will take in IP students from Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School and the Singapore Chinese Girls' School. It will also admit more than 100 students from other secondary schools who have completed their O levels.
