But it was actually the person whom I spoke to earlier from RC calling me back! Think you better confirm with RC where exactly the cruise will dock, as I believe all the cruise schedules are well planned months in advance, so they should have know, and not on first-come-first-serve bah.. <br /><br /><br />OIC, you are arranging your own pick-up so that's even more important to know which jetty to wait. <br /><br />We didn't go Jungceylon, cos only have time to go to 1 mall so we decided on Central Festival. You can google centralfestivalphuket / jungceylon to see what are the shops they have there. You might not have time to go to both malls. Junceylon is nearer Patong Beach, whereas Central Festival is further in town. There are many Tuk Tuk and taxi drivers waiting around the jetty area ready to get business. So it's pretty easy to get transport around, but just need to negotiote price lah. They can bring you for temple visit, elephant ride, shopping etc.. So plan your itinery ahead and be clear of where you want to go.<br /><br />For the six of us (include my 6yrs old girl) we just took a Tuk Tuk to get to Patong, where my gal braids her hair (a must for most girls her age) ,pick up some sea shells along the beach, see see walk walk around.. Nothing much to buy though. Then we took a taxi to Central Festival Market for our lunch and shopping.. We paid 600 baht to get there, and journey is around 20mins, depending on traffic.<br /><br />We had lunch at Fuji Restaurant (Jap rest) on the 2nd floor, reasonable price.  there also have Thai famous MK restuarant just next to it. its a modern shopping mall just like what we have here, but as we are not very adventurous, so we just stay around the mall till around 4+pm then take a taxi back to the jetty. The last tender boat back to the cruise ship for us is 6.30pm but we want to play safe, so left rather early. Quite rush actually, cos we initially had wanted to do some massage there, but due to time factor have to forgo it. <br /><br />Note - Patong Beach is very very hot and sunny..
