- Grade B3 in HCL or
- Grade B4 in HCL and B3 in Literature in Chinese (Full and Elective) or
- Grade A2 in CL

Given that your HCL grade is C6, I think it’ll be a struggle for you taking CLEP and the corresponding compulsory subjects that go along with it. Don’t take up CLEP just for the sake of entering a JC. It’s not worth it.

Clep requires a good command of the language. If there is no interest, you’ll be heading for much harder times ahead.
