She thinks if done before 2 years old, I would be wasting my efforts. What do you think? Btw, my son is now around 16 months and I’m thinking of starting him on potty training.</p>

We also set a time to train the bowel movement.<br /><br />When training to go w/o diapers at night, we set an alarm clock to get up to bring the child to pee in the toilet.  We bou a little Ikea stool for him to stand on so as to reach the toilet bowl.</p>
