Hii this is an ex student of ytss. For opportunity wise I think there are quite a lot for NA students. One very good example is how the NA students became the EXCO of student council in the past few years. I think as long as the student demonstrate good qualities and the passion to learn, the teachers are willing to help them.
I think if the student has the potential and the willingness put in effort,the teachers will try their best to help. I think they can start small, such as try taking a certain subject at the express level, and then slowly promote to express stream.

Hiii this is an ex student of ytss. For students who chose triple science, they can choose either elect geog + ss or elect hist + ss. Elect literature used to be available last time but I think it's no longer in option because few people wanted that combination.

And i would say the best thing about ytss is there are 2 breaks! - one recess 30 min and one lunch break 30 mins.

ytss have a talk in my child's sch. and my child said 97% of O level students(2018) were eligible for JC. I had to ask her many times whether he heard wrongly.

can anyone verify this?
My DD1 is from the 2019 cohort that just got the O level results and I can say that the teachers in the sch have done a good job in guiding the kids in academics and character building
DD1 prelims was in the mid 20s, but after getting results yesterday she was surprised that she was eligible for JC and she can go to her courses of her choice in Poly.

We had the same decision to make 4 years ago, CCHY or YTSS, even during that 4 years we had our doubts but the proof is in the pudding YTSS delivered

Yes they can use any sports shoes ( no color restrictions) only need to have school socks
Much easier for the parents in buying shoes
