They are heroes in the eyes of the Indonesians because they were special forces soldiers acting on the commands of their superiors but in the eyes of Singapore, they are terrorists. It's really a matter of perspective.

Yes , it's all on how you think of it .
There's no really right or wrong . They are heroes to some and just pure enemies to some . I feel that indo is still in the wrong to bring up this tragic story again by naming them out of the hundreds and thousands of heroes they have . As humans , we should be more sensitive to each other . I hope that the matter will just pass and everybody will forget it in due course . đŸ˜„

me dun understand your question wor...thot naval ships are manned by crew/people right...Therefore, in a joint naval exercise in which they will simulate a war scenario, both countries' navy personnel will manoeuvre their respective warships in tactical formations for different combat scenarios, test out certain contentious sea routes to check out the waters and proximity to enemies shores, practise the rules of engagement in a given scenario?

the navy personnel might carry out live firing of their long/short-range missiles to ensure the 'cannons' are working well, carry out fire drills from deck to bottom of the warship, or maybe even practise laying or clearing underwater mines??

If country has submarines, maybe they will also train with the warships to see torpedoes are working fine/can reach the other warship or not?! Hahaha!!

let me imagine further...if both countries own aircraft carriers, the pilots will also join in to take off from the naval ships.

did it for the relationship between S'pore and Indonesia...LKY went on to build a very special friendship with Suharto, thus ensuring there was no problem between S'pore and Indonesia for 3 decades until Suharto lost power.
