My kids are those that always bite their water bottle. Yeah. I had those nike ones too. They were popular at one time because can spray at other children at playground!! <br /><br /><br />But while they really love that bottle, they will also chew until the whole nozzle full of teethmarks and deformed. Or the rubber maid straw bottle chew until the hard plastic become flat. <br /><br />But twist bottles also have their problems. They sometimes don’t close tight. My neighbours (ang moh) bought these camelbaks from Australia. the bottle nozzle is rubber and can withstand the biting. Can’t seem to find here though.</p>

Plus plastic seem to smell a little. Like sometimes, if you put juice and then water, the juice smell remains for a while. So that tells me that there is possibly some absorption or something still sticks to it despite using bottle brush to scrub.
