Don’t ask me exactly how… He’s now in sec4. Although I’m sure his current sch also plays an impt part in motivating its students.

The consensus is that generally the lower pri have not reached the maturity yet. Also for P1, its a transition period, so a bit too soon to send them for such courses.

But then again, to each his own ....

My 2 cents

autumnbronze

Reply to Adam Khoo I am Gifted Programme on Sat, 10 May 2014 06:41:18 GMT

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. Hence I have to put them through enrichment programmes.

I don’t believe in the marketing & hype. I ask around & also go directly to the centre to find out myself. I’ve sent my children to Mindchamps before and I’ve seen the improvements. I feel it’s worth it.

And the fantastic thing is that such schools will tell you that 1 course is insufficient. You need to come back again for the next level, so it goes on n on. And who is the winner - these schools, for sure.

This is just my personal opinion only n I am sure strong believers of these schools will feel otherwise.

:goodpost:

These folks are just good at marketing and targeting parents' psychological weakness. A good school teacher or tutor can teach your child the stuff he/she really needs to learn and motivate at the same time. Why spend the extra money?

Teacher Aaron

Reply to Adam Khoo I am Gifted Programme on Wed, 05 Mar 2014 00:23:21 GMT

Are you planning to put your kids in the holiday camp?
