the prawns used are acceptable…rice is not soft, salty nor oily. $5 for a small portion…just nice for an adult.

In my own capacity, I find their \"XO Sauce Fried Rice\" is of heavenly taste. Insofar, not many good restaurants can come that near. Just my personal opinion on this.

I find the crab roe friend rice at paradise inn at bedok point not bad leh..

Level 5. Fried rice is not as tasty as ding tai Feng in my opinion.

Zhi cha stall fried rice still have char Siew lar, but they slice till so small pieces one can hardly eat them out.
The 2 stalls at my place here put vegetarian char siew.

The other alternatives besides adding in pork lard is adding roasted pork and char Siew to the fried rice. It will help to bring out the taste too.

Oh yes, char siew!
Zi char stalls now don't put char siew but vegetarian ones...I wonder why when they are not halal. You really get a plate of rice despite paying $6-8.
