you can try Mungyo air hardening modelling material - think you can try getting them at a art/craft shop called OVERJOYED at Golden wall centre, next to Lasalle or Albert Court Hotel. they're on facebook, maybe u can check with them what else they carry. 😄

I am trying to buy a good quality colour pencil and crayon.

One that do not need to draw hard to have vibrant colours.
Any brands to recommend ?
i like Faber-Castell Jumbo Wax Crayons - very vibrant colours.
got them from JL or Metro Expo Sale last year.

anyone knows where i can get big bottles of washable paint for pre-schoolers? around 250 - 300 ml.

Why? Becuase the quality is so poor that the child can’t use it at all. You have to rub so hard just to get some colors out from the crayon. The paintbrush can’t even hold paint properly. The paints don’t even mix well with water.


So at least for the middle-range ones, then your child can enjoy the process and results. If you don’t mind, get the artist-grade ones in a few chosen colors, so that your child can see the brilliant colors.

That is true. And hands-up all those parents with children in Primary school that are NOT already Popular Bookstore members? It's hard to imagine there's any :). It's weird how Popular was my favorite haunt as a kid (other than MPH), and now it's my favorite haunt for shopping for my kid.

Can't remember how I become one but I think you can get up to 10% if I ddn't remember wrongly.


Well, children love cutting papers. And papers are so expensive!!! so perhaps to be more creative, we can always use recycle items like

Newspaper
Papercup
Even envelops from your daily bills and make use of those phamlets/brochures included to create a collage with your child.

At the end of the day, still a nice piece of art work 🙂

Paper/Sissors with pattern/Crayons and paint?


My default place for those materials is Popular book store but I have saw some of the art and craft materials at concourse and in Daiso before too. Art friend (in bras basar and Ngee Ann City) and some of the art stores have a huge variety but can be quite expensive depending on what you buy.
