He was then accepted for Y5 IB program  in that school via ‘O’ level results.<br /><br />But for direct transfer from one IP/IB school to another IP/IB school, it is not possible for students who were admitted via DSA.</p>

That should give you an idea of the vibe, ambience and energy in each school. Talk to the seniors there. It's difficult for us to advise you which school you should choose because it's a really personal choice. <br /><br />As for students moving on from NYGH to RI, I saw a couple of students in NYGH uniform in RI earlier this year when school started for the JAE intake. So there are students who move from NYGH to RI. Doubt that you can do that if you're a DSA student though.<p></p></blockquote>Hello ERA_GEPer,<br /><br />Just to let you know that there's new direction from MOE. If you entered NYGH via DSA, you will not be able to move to RI (or any other JCs) and similarly if you are accepted into RGS via DSA, you cannot switch to HCI (or any other JCs). We were just informed about it this year. You can change only if you enter the schools via S1 posting but not via DSA.<br /><br />Both NYGH/HCI and RGS/RI are great schools. Both geppers. <br /><br /><br />dd1 is the super duper optimistic, 自我感觉良好，overly cheerful, live in la-la land, totally 状况外 kind of personality. She under-performed because of her 'awesomeness'. <br />Although her personality made her sociable and popular too. <br /><br />dd2 is the exact opposite. Unduly pessimistic. She under-performed as well, due to lack of confidence and easily panicky, 自己吓自己 till she became totally tongue tied during oral exam. <br /><br />If only I can distribute their confidence level more evenly.<br /><br /><br />dd1 asked me why I only freak out over her whereas I am totally cool with dd2. Reason is I have to help them balance it out.
