Let him choose the book he likes.  Even baby book is OK.<br /><br /><br />It happened to my girl in P1.  Cannot read.  I let her choose baby books.  I read to her and I get her to point the words and read to me too!  After Term 2 in P1 she started to read by herself.<br /><br />Of course, you need to send him not only OT, your son needs early intervention.<br /><br />I send my girl for Cognitive Brain Training, OT, Psychology for her Math subject.  You have to find out which subject is his weakness and work on it.<br /><br />Most important must find the right person to teach him.<br /><br />Hope my sharing helps.</p>

How are his fine motors skills? It could be that his motor skills are not yet developed enough to control a pencil well. Can he read? Reading generally precedes writing.</p>
