The hairstylists I went to seek opinion advised me to either keep long n rebond or cut real short.  <br /><br /><br />I chose not to take their advice, opt for no layering.<br /><br />After I wash, I apply a leave-on serum n blow dry from top to end with a hair dryer, warm mode, followed by cool mode.  <br /><br />Bcos of the thickness, I dun get rebond effect, but the frizziness is well controlled, IMO.</p>

We kept her hair long but her hair is always tied and gel applied to control the frizziness. It helps to keep the neat appearance when going to school but after school, the gel usually couldn’t hold the curls anymore.</p>

Crimper is not too bad but only if you have plenty of time to spare.<br /><br />Did soft rebonding ...no regrets.
