I loved the Tomica toy cars that my dad got me when I was growing up in the 1980s.My mom always brought me to OG Peoples Park for shopping and eating at the cafeteria there.


I felt in love with Japanese foods and toys when my mom brought me to Yaohan at PS in the same area.

yaohan at PS was the IN place then...so was galeries lafayette. i loved the hot an pan bun straight from the yaohan bakery.

I loved the sweet red bean paste taiyaki that they sold there.

Love the prawn noodles soup sold in the cooked foods section at Yaohan B1.

at one point, there was an old fashioned ice cream section in times at centrepoint.

can't remember cooked food section in b1...only the an pan bread.

I remember B1 sold foods like YTF,prawn noodles and there was a cafe selling rice bento sets and other types of Japanese foods.

it was really fun taking a tray and then selecting the food from each counter.
our childhood days were really fun. we would often go to MPH at stamford...i loved to read nancy drew.
our kids don't get to enjoy this.
