Since I donโ€™t have a lot of friends here so kiasuparents has been a major source of information regarding education and parenting in Singapore for me, and I have become a kiasu parent myself too. Thank you all for your warm welcomes! Yes I'm a PR now. Quit my job in hk and moved here to join my hubby after my 2nd child was born and have become a full-time mom since. It's really the toughest job I've ever had.

SAHM....best job in the world ...tough but great.....

Hi Blobbi, u must be talking about Victoria City at CITIC tower. Yes, it's pretty good. I used to go there for dim sum. Sometimes u might bump into movie stars ๐Ÿ™‚ Another restaurant I like is Peking Garden in Alexandra House (not all Peking Gardens have the same quality). Ning Po Club in Lan Kwai Fong was also one of my favorites but I heard they only serve members now...


Actually you can visit http://www.openrice.com for restaurant guide and reviews in HK. It's kind of like the hungrygowhere.com here I guess.

I really miss the restaurants & Ning Po Club that you mentioned. Many years ago I saw ๅˆ˜ๅ˜‰็Žฒ and ๆขๆฝฎไผŸ in Victoria City. They were much younger and had not gained the super star status then ๐Ÿ˜‰
