The fit doesn't need to be exact - but of course the oven has to be smaller than the space. For replace, just buy the same standard size, pull out, and push new one in.  Maybe some carpentry is more advanced?<br /><br /><br />I like the look of the built-in ones, plus as mentioned it saves counter space.  Functionality wise, some of the counter ones have worked just as well for reheating stuff (oven and steamer/steam oven).  I think they are cheaper too?</p>

That happened to my first oven because our tenants didn't use it at all, and the first time I used it when I took the flat back, it short-circuited. So if you only use it infrequently, you may want to heat it up for few minutes now and again. But I don't know how frequently it's best to turn it on. With the $50 for installation, it's cheaper than what I paid 10 years ago!</blockquote></blockquote>We got our Mayer fr GainCity for $579 with installation thrown in. SIL got hers one month after our installation direct fr Mayer with a better price. Just forgot how much she paid, but she’s gotta pay installation. Both our oven space fits exactly with one of Mayer’s models &amp; we hope repairs &amp; parts available long after guarantee. My Gaggenau was costing us a hefty sum just to repair altho the grilling function was superb with slightly crispy skin on upper fan when I hv to do chicken, whilst my Italian Turbo was totally out of parts &amp; theres no guarantee parts can arrive fr Italy as they were out for abt a year since Covid days. Of course, things changes as time goes, &amp; ownership changes fast too.
