ACS Barker Secondary offer Express, Normal (Academic), Normal (Technical) stream.

I think the only affiliated sec sch in Singapore that takes in all affiliated students regardless of their COP is ACS

If COP does not meet affiliate sec school and the T-score is 1 or 2 points below, call the school to ask if appeal is possible. If yes, put the school as 1st choice. If not possible to appeal, then no choice but to select a school next on your list.

For affiliate sec school that takes in all their pri school (lucky!), then the school has to be 1st choice on the Sec 1 Option Form.

If your dd has the talent and is academically strong, you should keep a lookout in the SOTA website for its Open House and registration for its Talent Academy.
Just like any DSA ( direct school admission), it is the school ( including SOTA) that makes the final decision to select and admit the child. Good luck!

I have heard of people putting only 1 choice because they know that they will get it, but I remember the instruction was not to leave any options blank. So to be safe, I think it's better to fill them up, but you don't have to think too hard!

So.. For students who prefer O Level course to IP course, they will put CHS O Level as 1st choice, and other schools (O Levels) as 2nd to 6th choices. They will not put CHS IP as 2nd Choice. Hence, Option B still seems illogical..

Our choice of schools should be from highest COP (1st choice) to lowest COP (6th choice), right ?
