As a programmer (C#.NET, <a href="http://ASP.NET" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">ASP.NET</a>, XNA Game (XBOX)) myself, I can tell you that there are no IDEs (integrated development environment) out there that is designed for kids.<br /><br /><br />For those who might not know what an IDE is, it is basically a software that is used to make other software. <br /><br />Its really difficult to even come up with one. Even NetBeans (which has the best customisable interface in my opinion) is too complex for a 12 year old. A scaled down, kid version would eventually be scripting and it better be a really good one that mimics the actual programming scenario.</p>
