I was able to remove ball pen ink stains - in fact I just did so this morning. I googled for an answer and tried 3 methods - nail polish remover, alcohol and lemon juice but wasn't unsuccessful. Fed up as it is a brand new shirt, I soaked the shirt in warm detergent water for a few minutes, put into the washing machine and bingo the stain was gone. So I am not sure which one works!

Dried emulsion paint stains is very difficult - I had this problem a few months ago and I couldn't remove them.

jesschan

Reply to Marker stains on white shirt. on Tue, 09 Feb 2010 01:11:30 GMT

Try Vanish (liquid type)?
