Afterall, every student has limited time before the exam date. However, exams aside, it’s good to expose our kids to multiple disciplinaries so that they are able to engage in interesting conversations with others in future.</p>

Over there, they will tell u what are the pre-requistes (if any) for that subject. Just don't turn up and it will be ungraded.<br /><br />Assuming that the 'dropped' subjects is not going to affect his subsequent entry to JC/Poly, i.e. not a core requirement for his intended course of study, it doesn't matter in the short or long run.<br /><br />Your kid is just playing it smart.
