I noticed there's no or little info coming from a few JCs like DHS, NJC, SAJC, NYJC, and also the national average.
And one even mentioned that the latest results of NYJC not as good, so the school didn't reveal.

PW will largely depend on the project that the group has chosen. As one of the marking criteria is about whether students are able to generate innovative and insightful ideas, if the project does not allow students to come up with solutions that are new and different from current existing measures, they will not be able to score in this component. Another important component is students’ oral presentation skills, whether they are able to effectively engage the audience.

General Paper will require students to have a good grasp of current affairs so that they have supporting evidence to support their points in the essay. They will also need to be proficient in their argumentative skills in writing.

I would like to clarify that I am not saying that JAE students are not doing as well as IP students in PW. I was just curious whether something similar to PW is taught in non-IP secondary schools. Curiosity only. In fact, DS said that there are many JAEs that are smarter and more hard working than IP students.

No need to teach in sec sch. They WILL learn in JC. :rotflmao:
