Most laser printers will do the job well, black and white using toner. Check out “brother” brand. Don’t get injets, which are better for high quality pictures, Color photos etc.

By “zap”, do u mean photocopy? Cos if u just need a soft copy, use CamScanner app on your handphone, then don’t need to buy scanner.

I am using HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw, it is a scanner/printer/photocopier, not bad.

and wireless connection too!

Bought HP Envy all in one 5640 and by far the best wireless printer. Still checking it out though.

Actually morse code is still a valid form of communication in my industry (but rarely use). Operation staff still require a cursory understanding of morse code.

Then after fax, the original will follow. But for email. No signature to verify and so you really cannot be sure who sent that email.

I went to look for a printer yesterday. There are so many brands on sales and I do not know which one is good to buy. Different sales man sings different tune on the same product. So I am still looking for one. My DH is asking his IT expert guy in the company for advice.


Features like flatbed and auto document feeder are must haves for me. Next is where is the service centre located as I do not drive, accessible via bus or train is another important consideration, any on site warranty or only carry in warranty.

If usage is low, then do not buy inkjet printer as the internal tubing will get dried up and become spoilt.

For laser printer, some stores have brands with additional toner foc promotion.

for my prev printer, feeding in paper is from the back. i find that this way of feeding in paper is slow and encountered paper jam quite often.

Read all members experience on printer. So which brand is the best? Brother, HP, Epson or Canon? What about the ink replacement cost? I know the ink will cost more than the printer itself.

it's always the case of the ink cartridge more ex than the printer.
my HP 2540 just went bonkers last thursday. as i am the only one using the printer, it is in very good condition. repairing it is as good as buying a new one :moneyflies:
so relieved and happy to be able to find another model which uses the current cartridges...but once they finish, i have to move to a new printer model as old cartridge would be phased out...even if printer is still working 😢
