<![CDATA[Where can find group international chess course for 6+ boy?]]>International Chess has really picked up over the years with Singapore having produced our youngest Grandmaster recently. Most Chess grandmasters pick up the game at 4,5 years old and some at 6-8years of age. It does not kill interest if taught properly as a game to enjoy. It depends on where one is coming from. Very often passions start from a young age and as parents we try to nurture it. When everything falls in place, we have a champion but if not, we can always enjoy a good game of International Chess 🙂

I'm just curious... is chess really hot in Singapore? I think teaching a 6 year old chess might kill interest in the game as it is rather complex. If he likes it, good for him!

His kids are quite good and have won some trophies in competitions.
