Buying of concession is via the ticketing machine, you use the student card to "activate"/buy the concession. This option can only use nets, not cash. My son will use his dad nets to buy during month end.

We did and for us, bus only is more worth. Plus when doing estimate, you should take into account the bus transfer discount. At times not really worth. You have to ‘purchase’ it for unlimited use monthly… Different pricing for the different options… Unlimited bus only, train only or hybrid.


In the event that the pass expires( if you forget to renew), they will then deduct the trip fare from the stored value in their card… Until you purchase the new concessionary pass. If I am not wrong, it can be purchased at any time of the month (eg, 10th June- 9thJuly something like that )Unlike the ones we used in our school days ( month start -month end).

Don’t think three is one with unlimited rides.
