Of course, moderation is the key. Eat sashimi together with the shredded radish beside it, heard that it can help with killing of bacteria and ease of digestion!

I think it's the trees! Leaving food exposed also attracts them, of course. If we live in a very concrete urban area without greenery, there will be fewer birds. But it will also be hotter and dustier, so it's a choice that has to be made.

There was this scene I saw yesterday when waiting for my girl at the school canteen. The stall helper clearing the plates on the table and a bird picking up the food from the floor. can't help to think that they are working hand in hand 😂[/quote]I guess we need to train our kids to eat neatly and not drop food on the floor. Really got a shock initially…the feeling I got was how come Sin is so dirty. Went to food court, stalls mostly handled by our fellow friends from other country. I can just tell myself to manage my expectation and eat out lesser.

I do not like to eat at BWC hawker stalls @ level 4 as it is an open space and many birds are in the area.

The smoking sort of cooks the outer layer of the fish. And those smoked and packaged in processing plants are probably safe. It’s the handling by some hawkers and restaurant workers that is probably less well-controlled.
