I do rebonding.. almost every 9 months.. if not the hairs messy like ghost.. 😒

Ya, indeed become quite dry..and the saloon advise to use those rebonding cream... I do \"highlight\" before, dry like those died grass.. :stupid:

I use conditioner and apply some cream (little bit will do) on hairs everytime after I wash my hair....

Want to be pretty... need hard work... :love:

You can imagine how damage my hair is hehe. Recently I went Invogue Salon for rebonding cos my friend recommended me, I totally love the outcome of my hair. I used to go to JY and other "branded salon" in shopping centre. Most can’t really help with my hair condition. However Invogue did a great job in making my hair smooth and soft and it look so natural. Yay! Service wise, the stylist is very careful and patience. She ironed my hair bit by bit layer by layer. Sat for about 4 hours plus. But Am really happy because my hair never felt so good before. I would recommend you to try them. Hi hi, is best not to rebond too young n often. I hve natural curl hair. after 18 i do straightener, dyer n rebonding often that now i find my hair not like last time soft n curl type. Seems my hair lost of ph level. Even though after everytime i rebong i did treatment seems doesn't helps on the ph level... this is wat happen to my hair...

It’s supposedly more natural but I have very frizzy and kinky hair. It didn’t last 2 weeks before strands picked up from the floor shows zig zags again. Went to Jean Yip hoping for some quality service, was promised correction with package deal. Spent $560 and got the worst effect of all. Phoned Jean Yip headquarters because the head hairstylist couldn’t fix it. But its administrator Steven Fernandez ignored me completely despite multiple follow ups.

Complete rip -off !

If you have strong waves or kinky hair, go anywhere but Jean Yip.

They are having a promotion at $128. Have not washed my hair yet, so no comments yet. Service was Ok as it was not crowded on a weekday. Rebonding was done in under 3 hours. There was no hard sell of packages either.

To fellow KSPs who are interested in Olivia's service :

I went to Olivia last wk for a haircut @ Compasspoint.
The whole process took almost 1.5hrs, Olivia is really popular, even thou my appointment is at 3pm. I like her. Her hair cut is gd, as schweppes recomm, I let her have free rein of the style. Just told her my hair concerns. She gave gd advice, not pushy.

I definitely look younger, maybe not by 10yrs like schweppes, maybe 5, haha. Overall I'm v.happy with my hair - she created volume for me wh I requested and like.

The damage was slightly more than what schweppes quoted cos Compasspoint charges is higher (she told me the difference in charges is due to diff rental rates). Her staff are also friendly and efficient.

I waited to feedback till I've at least had my 1st wash - told her I want something easy to maintain...verdict, yes, easy to maintain, just need a quick blow with the hairdryer.

Overall, big thanks to you, schweppes!

P.S. Only thing is she cut my hair a little shorter than I would have liked. But it's q.ok, hair can grow...

I had long hair last couple of years. This year, for cny, it's been chopped off to shoulder length. Now it's slightly shorter than that after recent hair cut.

For rebond hair - think Supercuts charges $230 and $58 haircut by Olivia. Because I'm her regular customer, sometimes she waives off the haircut price or give me a bigger discount. As it's your first time, better check and confirm price first. Don't want to get a heart attack when u get the bill :yikes:

Oh... and if it's one week before your bday, think got extra discount. Again... better call/check to confirm this in case there's terms and conditions

Same for me, babe. Don't really go for branded stuff. Tried pedi same day as the kimage haircut and really didn't enjoy it. So expensive. Not shiok. I'd rather top up a little for a good body massage or foot reflexology or even a longer hair press/scrub/massage at kimage.
