<![CDATA[Muffins]]>No, not that boy Muffins, but those real Muffins.


My personal favourite is Chocolat N' Spice :love: , located at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. LONG queue during lunch time.

I understand that Chocolat N' Spice originated from Shunfu Hawker Centre, operated by just 1 lady, who was ex-dessert chef from some big hotel.

I do not know whether the Shunfu stall is still there or not, as I only frequent that shop at Tanjong Pagar. Over the years, there seem to be more and more bakers in that shop and the number of flavours have also gradually increased.

My girls love the choc chip and chocolate versions, dh like the banana walnut and i like the orange cranberry.

:hi5: my hubby does the same thing too. On rare occasions when he works from home, he will get 10 muffins (small ones)...mainly chocolate, Oreo and banana with walnut. The new flavor is durian but I find it costly...additional 50 cents, so it works out to be $1.30 for 1 small one. Still prefer muffins from TP as there are more flavors.

Hi buds, sorry for the long reply, but there is one branch at International Plaza at Anson Road, they make better chocolate muffins than the ones at Suntec City Mall, more moisture, but the banana nut ones are much better at Suntec City. More crunch. Haven't tried the ones at Parklane Shopping Mall and Bukit Merah Central yet... Will let you guys know if I go there soon! πŸ™‚
