We also collect the water from washing rice and veg for the plants as well. Last time,  my mum will collect the water from the final rinse of clothes from the washing machine for washing the or flushing the toilets. These days the tube goes straight into the drainage so we do not collect or recycle that water. My dad dumps a bottle filled with water into the cistern to raise the water level and to reduce the water needed for each flush. <br /><br /><br />Right now, for washing our cars, we can use the water from the carpark, who knows they may install coin operated taps soon.<br /><br />For us, I don't think the budget will have that much of an impact. Maybe we will  :yikes: at the first one or 2 utility bills but doubt we will be making any huge adjustment. <br /><br />In any case, for me, it is a given that prices of things will go up.
