Err... Fern Green is not a Hokkien Huay Kuan school. The only SHHK schools I know are:
Tao Nan
Ai Tong
Chongfu
Nan Chiau
Kong Hwa
I think she's comparing 'standard' and not asking about SHHK schools.

Notwithstanding, I don't think it's fair to compare Fern Green with the SHHK schools. For starters, Fern Green is only around 5yo and doesn't even have a graduating cohort of PSLE students. Beside, there are 5 SHHK primary schools and their 'standard' also differ from one another. e.g. TNS is a GEP school. TNS and ATS are SAP schools. You would expect these two schools to be held to a higher standard.

Your child would only turn 7 in Year 2020, am I right? It is still too early to register for P1. Do keep on a lookout for the P1 registration timeline released by MOE in the Q1 of year 2019.
