However, my parents have got the same heat reducing film and they are actually working pretty fine. And yeah, they just do not reduce light, they only reduce the heat. In a couple of weeks I will be moving into a new house, I guess I will give these flms another try. Actually, I guess I will ask the guys from <a href="https://www.skwindows.ie/sash-windows">https://www.skwindows.ie/sash-windows</a> as they are having some outstanding windows, and maybe they have some windows which come with the heat reducing film, or maybe a better alternative.</blockquote></blockquote>How was your experience? There is some difference BUT remember that if the windows are closed and there is exposure to afternoon sun, room temperature will still increase. the installer was trying to explain, sorry I can’t remember. <br /><br /><br />So far it has lasted quite well, except I was told to use only very mild cleaning agents - cannot newspapers to ‘polish’, but I will use wet cloth and then.scraper to dry the windows.</p>

The sales person will come down to your place to take measurement, show you a a catalogue for you to pick the shades you prefer, and then give you a quotation based on your choice. <br /><br />Workmanship was good.
